WORLD PEACE EMERGES!
GrandMother Drum Joins 120 Countries in Worldwide Prayer of Peace
Beloved Family,
The seven-foot GrandMother Drum and Tour staff arrived home in Palmer, Alaska six weeks ago, completing their six-month 2008 Healing Waters USA Tour. We will culminate the 2008 Healing Waters Tour home in Alaska with a Prayerformance, Saturday, September 13, 2008 along the Kenai River in Alaska and join together over 120 countries in a Worldwide Drum Vigil and Peace Prayer with Earthdance organization.
In 2004, GrandMother Drum joined with Earthdance and set the Guinness World Book of Records for “Largest Drum Ensemble with over 4,700 drummers joined by tens of thousands in over 150 cities worldwide. Lets continue to strengthen the pulse of peace for Mother Earth and all life upon her on these two important dates!

Honoring the 27th International Day of Peace September 21, 2008
Go to a brand new online magazine that is devoted entirely to Peace Day.
Pages 12 & 13 of the magazine focus on the UN’s involvement and mention one UN sponsored activity that anyone can do. People can observe a minute of silence at noon in all time zones - this has been observed by millions of people worldwide for the past 27 years. There are also instructions for text messaging world leaders through the UN – a new program this year. My favorite story is on pages 44 & 45; it is about UN arranged ceasefires in countries like Afghanistan - and the humanitarian aid provided during these ceasefires.
